I'm writing an essay and my brain feels totally dead. I read this paragraph and something about it sounds really wrong but I don't know how to word it better or what's wrong with the grammar. I just know something is wrong.

when applying make up, why do people take the wand of mascara or lip gloss in and out over and over again before applying it?
It just gets air in the product and makes it dry up faster. I cannot explain how much this annoys me. WHY DO PEOPLE DO IT!? |

Do you believe the quote "Don't let your schooling get in the way of your education?" Why or why not? Has school ever gotten in the way of other pursuits?
I pretty much stopped reading books for enjoyment as soon as I entered college because I feel like I should be devoting all my time to reading books for school, not leisure, and that every chance I have to read should be spent on bettering my knowledge of graded material. (I will be reading a lot during winter and summer breaks, I can tell you that much. XD)
Is this a good philosophy? Why or why not? |

I'm a pretty lazy girl so I keep 1 "special" cup in my room and pee in it during the night if I have to go (so I don't have to go all the way to the bathroom which happens to be only about 2 feet away from my room HAHA). ANYWAY, I have my cup and then every morning I'll take it to the bathroom, dump it and rinse it. Well even with all the rinsing I do theres still a build up of CRUD in the bottom of the cup so I got the idea to clean it out. I put hand soap and water in it and left it sit ALL day only to rinse it out really good and still have the build up in it!!! So I poured a little hydrogen peroxide in the cup and HOLY BALLS! It fizzed and got all foamy, and it crackling and making noise! Now it looks like shaving cream in the cup. Haha. That's all. I took a picture but it literally looks like white shaving cream.. Doesn't even look gross. |

How come when I go to grab a Kleenex, they come out all at once in a line? Did the manufacturer stop folding the single sheets together and just start not-quite-entirely-cutting-apart the tissues, leaving them all connected at the corners?
WTF, Kleenex?
(Scotties is also starting to do this, a little bit, but with a sharp tug, the corners will usually rip, whereas with Kleenex, you have to pull them apart with both hands and by then you've taken six out of the box, anyhow. Royale is still working as it ought, one tissue per tug, no resistance, pops up the next one easy as pie. I like Puffs Plus but we haven't bought them in ages, so I don't know if they'd give me this grief, too.)

Did you watch The Wonder Years? I just stumbled across the Biography documentary on YouTube and it brought back happy memories. I loved that show.

Do you think it would be odd to give my friend a gift that I crocheted? It would be a little doll similar to one I made myself and she expressed love for. We've only known each other about 7 months and been close for about 2 but we've grown so close so fast, and blah, we are just super good buddies. |

I'm not sure if this has been asked, I wouldn't be surprised if it has been. I'm not around TQC enough to keep track.
Does the idea of the world ending in December 21, 2012 faze you at all? Whether or not you "believe" it, is it not still a possibility?
I've been wondering because I feel like I keep on seeing 2012 discussions, be it on TV or online, comcast had it on their homepage...of course, it's probably all hyped by the 2012 movie. But still. Do you think people will be frightened, staying at home on that day? Will you be? Or will the day blow over with ease? Presuming the world doesn't end. ;) Suppose the world did end then, what would you do/who would you want to be with? |
